Welcome.

As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

My Experience

I received my Master’s degree in Psychology from San Francisco University. My clinical areas of interest and experience over the last ten years include dual diagnosis (substance use/abuse and mental health), eating disorders, victims of crime and trauma, PTSD, depression, child sex trafficking, and children of adopted and/or foster care homes. I have worked in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care and am trained in dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Sand Tray, and Art Therapy modalities. As a previous teacher and a parent myself, I have a passionate place in my heart for working with adolescents and their families to realize their full potential and become reconnected with themselves and each other.

“As for the future, it remains unwritten. Anything can happen, and often we are wrong. The best we can do with the future is prepare and savor the possibilities of what can be done in the present.”

~ Todd Kashdan

“The good life is a process, not a state of being.”

~ Carl Rogers

I look forward to working with you as you discover you and your path. Finding ways that inspire you and those around you. Learning how and the importance of taking care of yourself to be where you want and need to be. Supporting you to finally be accepting all of yourself!
